About Hong Kong

Hong Kong is on the southeast coast of China and occupies 426 sq. miles. It is made up of four parts: Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories and the Outlying Islands. This prosperous island is the center of economy, politics, entertainment and shopping with its southern part noted for sea shores and bays. Kowloon is another flourishing part where Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok are the most popular destinations. The New Territories and Outlying Islands are ideal places to experience a peaceful and natural holiday. Hong Kong marks as one of the world's leading financial, banking and trading centers.

The city has a population of about 7.3 million and most of them (about 97%) are Chinese and they speak Cantonese and English.

Hong Kong was seen as the world’s best goal for relaxation guests and gatherings in 2012. Hong Kong was voted the “Best FIT Destination of the Year” in the China Travel and Meeting Industry Awards 2012 sorted out by travel magazine Travel Weekly. Additionally it was named the “Best City for MICE Events” in the 2012 Industry Awards composed by CEI Asia Pacific magazine.

Macau is an autonomous region on west side of the Pearl River estuary in East Asia. It is bordered by the city of Zhuhai in Mainland China to its north and Pearl River Delta to its east and south. Hong Kong lies about 64 km (40 mi) to its east across the Delta with a population of 650,900 living in an area of 30.5 km2 (11.8 square mi) and it is the most densely populated region in the world

It has a strong economic base, which enabled it to tolerate periods of economic hardship. This will help Hong Kong to regain its loss and plans to expand its economy to play more significant role in global markets.
