Biography:

Celine Nicolas graduated in Veterinary Medicine and as a PhD from the University of Nantes (France). She then worked as a Post-doctoral fellow and Research Assistant at the University of Bristol (UK) for 5 years and at the University of Nice (France) for 2 years. She has published several articles in reputed journals and joined Virbac in 2016.  

Abstract:

C.E.T.® Veggiedent® Flex is a dental chew containing the FR3SH technology for fresh breath and eggshell membrane, known to support joint health. In this study, dogs with reduced mobility were given one chew per day for 60 days. Mobility assessments were made on D0, D7, D15, D30, D45 and D60 by the owner. Four different criteria (dog’s ability to stand, walk, get in/out of car, climb on furniture) were scored from 0 (no difficulty) to 10 (extremely difficult) while the dog’s interaction with people was scored from 1 (happy and playful) to 7 (becomes aggressive when disturbed) and the ability to climb steps from 1 (normal) to 5 (needs holding). A score (0: none -10: highly improved) was also given for the mobility improvement felt. Only the owners who gave a score >2/10 (or >1/5-7) on D0 were kept for analysis. A Friedman’s test with multiple comparisons were performed for each criteria.

All criteria were significantly improved (p<0,05) by D60:

* Ability to

stand:  46% improvement (5.6 on D0 versus 3 on D60; n = 36);

walk: 48%; (5.3 vs 2.7; n=30)

get in/out of car: 39% (5.6 vs 3.4; n=22)

climb on furnitures: 39% (5.5 vs 3.3; n=32)

climb steps: 36% (2.4 vs 1.5; n=30)

* Interaction with people: 24% (2.6 vs 2; n=45)

* Sum of all scores: 36% (13.7 vs 8.8; n=99)

More than 80% of the 123 owners assessed perceived some mobility improvement (score >0) during the study. Breath intensity and odor pleasantness were also significantly improved by 44% and 62%, respectively.

These results show that a dental chew, containing eggshell membrane and given to dogs for 2 months, can help support mobility and improve breath as per the owner’s perception.

Abstract:

Background: There are differences in the distribution of ABO and Rh(D) blood groups in different populations of the world. There is paucity of information about blood group distribution in Pakistanis and association of familial diseases in healthy population.
Aims & objectives: To measure the frequency of ABO and Rh(D) blood groups in major local ethnic groups (Arains, Jutts, Maliks, Rajpoots etc) along with frequency of familial diabetes in healthy subjects.
Subjects and methods: Blood testing for ABO and Rh (D) typing was done among 1000 unrelated students from both genders in University College of Medicine and Dentistry students of University of Lahore in association with their blood donor’s society over few months using finger prick method followed by routine slide method. Information about sub-ethnicity of subjects and presence of diabetes in the family was inquired.
Results: Blood group "B" was the most predominant (n=374; 37.4%) in both Rh positive and negative subjects, followed by blood group “O” (n=295; 29.5%), “A” (n=248; 24.8%) and 
“AB” (n=83; 8.3%). Majority (n=882; 88.2%) of the subjects were Rh (D) positive and only 11.8% (n=118) were Rh negative. Subjects with blood group “A” and “AB” had maximum frequency of Rh positivity (n=226; 91.1%) and negativity (n=15; 18.1%) respectively. Most common sub-ethnicities were “Araeens” with predominance of blood group “B” (41.3%) followed by “Jutts” with blood group “B” (33.3%), “Maliks” with blood group “A” (30.6%) and “Rajputs” with blood group “B” (43.2%). Blood group “A” was most concentrated in “Butts” (36.8%) and blood group “B” in Khokhars (72.7%). Blood groups “AB” as well as “O” were most common in “Cheemas” with percentages of 25% and 37.5% respectively. A total of 54% (46 out of 118) cases of paternal Diabetes and 52% (45 out of 116) cases of maternal Diabetes were concentrated in blood group “B”. 
Conclusions: The ethnic distribution of blood groups is important in predicting familial diseases like diabetes possibly due to marriages within same ethnicity in our population.

Reza rezaie khanghah: a chemist( freshman) at shahid rajaee teacher training university in tehran. 20 year old from Iran . He learned English for six or seven years . he hasn't published another article except this and this one is his one experience.. he isn't  a member of  anywhere and wrote this manuscript alone with the help of God. He lives in Iran at Tehran and studied chemistry at shahid rajaee teacher training university.  Maybe he wants to  translate the book that the name is " Molecules that change the world " that the is for a specific kind of study at chemistry branches. He hopes to publish this manuscript  and find a home for his manuscript. 

Abstract:

First of all I found lots of medicine for lots of diseases like phlegm and sore throat and headache and etc .I stated a Therapy for scrupulous and other kind of disease like this.Except disease and medical science and medicine and astronomy I have some other research into/on other fields of study.I found how stars moves at constellation and they have two general movements and in conclusion I say some of my studies here.you drink water at stand up stance it can cause you sweat a lot.My findings  support my hypothesis. My hypothesis is can we have natural medicine instead of chemicals one? Does any disease have medicine? Most scrutinized literature was collected from different sources including PubMed.This database has been curetted using published methods for all most all pharmaceuticals. Required information for regular method development/validation such as IUPAC name, structure, solubility, chromatographic conditions, instrumentation information like HPLC, LCMS detection parameters, sample preparations, recovery details, limit of detection and limit of quantification,Tmax,Cmax etc.,for routine application in BA/BE studies of pharmaceuticals was incorporated including official pharmacopeias information such as European Pharmacopeia, Japan Pharmacopeia and US Pharmacopeia. Database includes drug based bioanalytical methods covering most required fields and external database links of important drug portals such as drug bank, Rxlist, MEDLINE plus, KEGG Drug ID, KEGG Compound ID, Merck manual, PubChem compound ID, PubChem substance ID and USFDA.I use lots of studies and conducted my studies with lots of references that I said it at the end of my manuscript.

Biography:

I graduated from Indonesia University of Education with Bachelor of Education Degree. I took Culinary Education as my major and Dietetics as my specialization. I have been focusing on work about food innovations and recently I grow my interest about public health as in my research. In the future I’d love to do a project about public health in a bigger scope with the current urgency.

Abstract:

Stunting was a state of height/length-for-age index below minus two standard deviations based on the WHO standard. Nutritional intake is one of the factors that directly influence the incidence of stunting. This study aims to analyze nutritional intake and consumption of nutrient sources in stunting infants in Cimahi Urban-Village. The study uses a cross-sectional design with descriptive research methods. The populations are 172 stunting toddlers using random sampling area and took 64 toddlers as respondent. Data collection was done through interviews using 24-hour food recall form and food frequency questionnaire. This study was carried out on December 6, 2018 - May 14, 2019.

Abstract:

The aims of presentation consist of Nutrition, Dietetics, Health, daily life and developing countries were studied and reported that Nutrition and Dietetics are the major industry for the development of health and basic need of daily life in the developing countries of the world. Nutrition is the science that interprets the interaction of nutrients and other substances in food in relation to maintenance, growth, reproduction, health and disease of an organism. Nutrients are substances that are required for the nourishment of organism while nutrition is the entire process by which organisms obtained energy and nutrients from food. The study further reported that nutrition with the major food nutrients are the basic source of our food which are necessary for the development of health. Similarly, the essential food nutrient for life includes carbohydrate, protein, lipids, as well as fiber, vitamins, minerals and water. All the major food nutrients are found in plants and animal cells it is also called food science. Dietetics is the branch of knowledge concerned with the diet and its effects on health, especially with the practical application of a scientific understanding of nutrition. The total estimated countries in the world are 224. Recognize countries are 198 consist of 149 developing countries and 49 are developed countries, however the unrecognized countries are 26. Keeping in view the importance of above study, it is proposed that the process of nutrition and dietetics should be commercialized for the development of health, and basic need of daily life in the developing countries of the world.

Abstract:

The present research work is entitled "Relationship between information deprivation on food security and health risks during food consumption in the population of Piura (2018)." The report has been made due to the growing statistics of coronary metabolic diseases that are registered in Peru, and especially Piura, due to the deficient patterns of food consumption. It is for this reason that the perception of the risk that consumers have about food and the knowledge associated with the potential danger of developing diseases was analyzed.
 
Another of the justifying reasons for the development of this report is the scarce coverage of the media on food security, considering that more than fifty percent of the causes of death in Peru are due to diabetes and cardiovascular afflictions.
 
This thesis should take into account some fundamental principles such as innocuity, consumer trends, theories about cognitive deficit, risk communication, the rate of scientific literacy, the manipulation of neurointelligence in the labeling of food packaging as a means of confusion to the consumer for the adequate nutritional information interpretation of the food; coinciding with the proposal of the "Public Understanding of Science" the need of citizenship to have a wide range of understanding of terms and constructs sufficient to understand a significant number of events in daily life, including reading and understanding the label of a food package.
 
The methodology applied was observation; To take a close look at the most common and frequent eating habits of the Piura population during their visits to the main supermarkets in the city. Correlatively, a questionnaire was executed by means of a "survey" file to contrast the similarity between what was observed and what was answered in the interviews. Finally, in order to demonstrate the omissions on nutritional information in food labels, a metabolic analysis has been applied by high efficiency liquid chromatography to quantify the metabolites with genotoxic potential not declared in the foods sold by the companies.
